Design Manager – East Midlands
A leading privately-owned contractor is searching for a Design Manager to join their growing operations team delivering Design & Build projects across the Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Design Manager to join a highly successful contractor delivering commercial, education, MOD, multi-room, leisure, and sports projects ranging from £10m to £40m.
In this role, you will generally be responsible for two live projects and support the pre-construction team in the tender process to secure new projects.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Review the technical aspects of details put forward by architects and engineers
- Coordinate changes with the Design team to ensure best value
- Lead design team meetings and coordinate build process
- Liaise with client and consultant throughout the project
The Package
- Basic salary of £52,500 – £62,500
- Company Car or Car Allowance
- Bonus Scheme up to 10%

To qualify for the higher rate of pay, you must be able to demonstrate a track record working as a Design Manager delivering D&B projects (£5m+) for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor.
