Role Summary
Working alongside the copy editor, the copywriter is a vital part of the editorial team that forms the voice of Anthropologie. They will assist in the creation of copy for all external and customer-facing communications across apparel, accessories, home, and lifestyle. Our ideal candidate should be a highly motivated and creative writer and multitasker who understands the lifestyle retail landscape.
What You\’ll Be Doing
The copywriter will assist the copy editor in:
- Acting as a brand ambassador for Anthropologie’s TOV across all international channels.
- Providing copy for all customer-facing communications – including emails, website, social, and POS – ensuring deadlines are adhered to.
- Assisting in producing blog content, including initial ideation and partner liaison.
- Supporting copy requirements across European markets, assisting with the translation process.
- Identifying ways to enhance the information presented on Anthropologie’s website, across social channels, and printed pieces.
- Regularly undertaking competitor research and staying abreast of industry trends.
What You\’ll Need
- Excellent written English (grammar, spelling, etc.) with copywriting experience, preferably with a lifestyle or apparel background.
- High level of creativity.
- A keen interest in fashion, décor, food, and general lifestyle genres.
- Excellent organisational skills.
