Vacancy Information

The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours / sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.

Hourly rate of pay: £12.96 – £13.78
This is a 39 week sessional post i.e. working hours will be during school term time plus in-service days.

Days and times of work:
Monday, 08:45-15:00
Tuesday – Thursday, 08:45-13:45
Friday, 08:30-11:30
Starting and finishing times are flexible.

St Gabriel's RC Primary School is a Catholic School which serves the local community of Prestonpans and welcomes Children from the Catholic Community and Children from other denominations, faiths and backgrounds. We are a medium sized school in which all staff, children and parents are part of one family all working together

An opportunity has arisen for someone who has the ability to be the welcoming face of St. Gabriel's School community. They will work in a very busy front office as the school auxiliary, will assist the school's Business Support Administrator, will assist children with First Aid needs and will support the day to day running of the school. Applicants should have basic IT skills especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.
