Unified Women’s Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of Mid-Atlantic to seek a Mammography Technologist in Virginia Beach and Norfolk, VA.
The Supervisor Office Operations is responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations of all Mid-Atlantic imaging centers. Works directly with Imaging Manager to achieve the maximum volume and profitability by using staff and schedules in the most efficient manner, while keeping the patient flow and needs of the providers in mind. Acting as the primary liaison with care centers for clinical operations and building effective relationships for continuous operational improvement.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and train clinical imaging staff at all imaging locations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures
- Ensure adequate staffing for day-to-day operations and support as back-up
- Develops and maintains technologist staff schedules
- Coordinates communication between care center providers and patients
- Reviews QC for each location quarterly and prior to all MQSA inspections
- Reviews quality concerns from the reading radiologist and provide training as needed
- Performs all annual MQSA inspections
- Completes and submits necessary imaging and reports for ACR accreditation
- Reviews all charges to billing are accurate and complete prior to submission
- Track all technologists and radiologists MQSA and State requirements
- Payroll, Interviewing, and Performance Management of Direct Reports
- Perform daily Mammography and Bone Density exams as needed
Additional Job Functions:
- All other job requests as assigned by Manager Imaging Operations, Director of Imaging Operations, or Care Center Administrator
- Attend Unified and UMAMS meetings
- Complete all assigned compliance and education requirements
- Assist in recruiting staff
- Assist in special projects
Qualifications
- ARRT Certification in Radiology and Mammography – RT(R)(M)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Mammography
- Minimum 5 years’ experience outpatient or inpatient imaging leadership
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in MQSA and ACR Regulations
- Regular travel to imaging centers required
- Familiar with outpatient practice procedures, including EMR and PACS workflow
- Experience working with integrated patient scheduling and billing systems preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in group and one on one settings
- Resourceful approach to problem-solving, demonstrating critical thinking skills
- Proficiency level with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
