Salary: Up to £31,871 per annum with company van, tools and fuel card provided.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full time (40 hours per week)

Working Hours: Delivered on a rota basis between 08:00 – 20:00 Monday to Friday and 08:30 – 12:30 on a Saturday (2 Saturdays in every 14 weeks).

In this role, you will have use of a company van and fuel card. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join the In House Maintenance Service, who make a difference to our customers’ lives every day by delivering a high-quality repairs service designed around them.

Due to the continued growth of our In-House Maintenance Service, we are currently looking to add Multi Traders with knowledge and experience of dealing with damp and mould to help resolve customer enquiries and issues.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose damp and mould problems.
• Wash and clean affected surfaces within customers’ homes.
• Treat damp and mould with specified mould treatments.
• Carry out minor repair works.
• Be responsible for accurate recording of tasks and liaising with the scheduling team.
• Apply your technical knowledge, skills, and training to complete the repairs assigned to you in a safe, efficient manner.
• Provide reports on factors that are a cause of damp and mould.
• Deliver and maintain excellent customer service at all times.

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience in treating damp and mould.
• Knowledge of industry-standard techniques and products for damp and mould remediation.
• Experience in the construction industry, including trades, materials, processes, and Health & Safety, especially within a social housing context.
• Ability to operate in a positive, organised, efficient, and self-motivated way.
• Multi Trade skills such as decorating, bricklaying, plumbing, carpentry, plastering.
• A full clean driving license.
