We are recruiting for a Finance Team Lead – Investment Finance to join our growing Finance Service area. Our brand-new offices are based at the i9 building in Wolverhampton and is an excellent location for transport links by car, bus, train and tram.
What the day will look like
Responsibilities include:
- To lead a team of Finance Officers, Finance Assistant, and Graduate Management Trainee in conjunction with the Fund Accountant, managing the day to day workload of the team and ensuring performance to KPIs.
- Working with service area leadership (Head of Finance, Deputy Head of Finance, Finance Manager, Fund Accountant) to implement development plans including controls, systems and processes.
- Act as the primary escalation point for customer (internal and external) queries in relation to their team’s area of work.
- Provide Financial expertise into project work as directed both within the Finance Service Areas and the wider pension Fund.
- To support and lead as directed in providing technical guidance and support to the Finance Service Area including the continuous review of technical guidance issued by professional bodies related to the Pension Fund.
