Our Finance team delivers best-in-class support to ensure accurate financial reporting, deliver insightful analysis and develop effective financial strategies that drive the business on its growth journey .

We are looking for a talented Management Accountant to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about using financial data to support the wider business and has a solid understanding of financial reporting. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of the management accounts to a high standard and in line with the timetable
  • Full ownership of the balance sheet and all reconciliations
  • Calculation and posting of accruals and prepayments, including review and commentary of balance sheet lead schedules
  • Analysis of debtors including debtor days calculations
  • Monitoring cashflow
  • Reconciliation of revenue including calculation of monthly accrued/deferred income journals
  • Maintenance of the expense tracker and analytical review providing insightful analysis
  • Assisting with statutory audit process including preparation of deliverables
  • Assisting in the monitoring of the Accounts inbox
  • Preparation of regular supplier payment runs
  • Supporting the agency with ad hoc tasks when needed

We believe someone with the following experience could be a good match for this role:

  • Solid team player: strong communication skills, a flexible and collaborative mindset and a willingness to support others
  • 2+ years of experience in a Management Accountant role
  • Good understanding of accountancy concepts such as posting accruals/prepayments and adjusting for accrued/deferred income
  • Exposure to foreign currency transactions
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting systems
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Skilled in the use of Sage 50 accounting software
  • Experience using CMap professional services software is desirable but not essential
  • Experience working in a medical/healthcare communications agency or professional services is desirable but not essential
