For Companies We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Assembly & Test Technician for a leading engineering company based in Netley, Southampton.
The primary role of the Assembly & Test Technician will be to provide support to the engineering team with mechanical testing as well as the assembly, repair build of the site's products to high specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up, preparation and testing mechanical assemblies.
- Recording and processing test result data.
- Maintain strict company health and safety guidelines.
Ideal Experience:
- Previous experience within mechanical assembly or mechanical test.
- Ability to use hand tools.
- Ability to read assembly / engineering drawings and work to instructions.
- Attention to detail.
- IT literate with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Any experience with composites, hydraulics, or 3D CAD would be an advantage.
Hours: Day Shift - Flex on start and finish times
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000
Benefits: Pension, Healthcare Scheme, Flexible start and finish times.
