THE BUSINESS
This national retailer has a high calibre and established legal team, and are known for having an exceptionally positive culture as an enjoyable business in which to work. They currently seek additional in house legal counsel to join the team for a commercial and corporate focussed role.
THE ROLE
You will work principally with contracts and general commercial work. This will entail drafting, reviewing and advising on consumer contracts and B2B supplier contracts (client and supplier), including standard terms of business and bespoke contracts, along with associated contracts such as data sharing agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), quality/technical agreements and providing support to the procurement team.
ABOUT YOU
This role would probably best suit a lawyer who has experience of commercial contracts, be that as a qualified solicitor or other relevant in house role. With a 4 strong legal team, it is a good place to get support and help develop your skillset in a supportive team environment. Their General Counsel has a good reputation for helping junior lawyers develop and enhance their skillset.
