Textiles Teacher We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary Textiles Teacher to join our team in Earlsfield. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of teaching textiles or design at KS3 and KS4 levels, with a strong passion for fostering creativity in students. A good relevant degree, PGCE or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective textiles lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress. Inspire students in creative design, textile skills, and innovative project work. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages artistic exploration. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in the subject area. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events. Requirements: Have a good relevant first degree and be QTS qualified by the start date Have the subject knowledge and experience to teach Design Technology at KS3, DT Textiles GCSE and Fashion and Textiles GCSE and A-Level (Art and Design Specification) Be able to motivate and inspire students to love Design Technology and Art Be committed to working successfully as a member of a team Have very strong organisational and interpersonal skills Experience teaching textiles or design at KS3 and KS4 levels. PGCE or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Strong communication and organizational skills.
