We are excited to share that we are looking for a Business Analyst to provide support to our Compliance and Finance teams in London.

Reporting into our global Reg Tech team, you will be responsible for converting data into actionable insights. Your expertise will enable us to gain a deeper understanding of our clients and the activity on our platform. You will excel at extracting and analysing data from various systems in a fast-paced environment.

We seek a skilled and proactive Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with 2-4 years of experience to join our Compliance team within the Trading Platform industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, regulatory compliance, and business intelligence, using data-driven insights to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and optimize compliance operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain compliance reports and dashboards, ensuring KPIs and regulatory reporting requirements are met.
  • Monitor key compliance metrics and analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and potential compliance risks. Your insights will support decision-making and improve compliance operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the compliance and finance teams to ensure all activities meet regulatory requirements.
  • Work with Information technology, Risk, and Legal teams to align on data strategies and requirements, providing technical support and expertise in BI tools as needed.
  • Support the Compliance Operations Manager in identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions to enhance compliance processes.
  • Provide analytical support to the relevant teams by identifying trends, anomalies, and insights within data to support business initiatives.
  • Contribute to projects by providing data analysis and recommendations that improve compliance processes and controls.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a BI Analyst or similar position, preferably within the trading platform or financial services industry.
  • Must be proficient in SQL for querying and database management and experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills are required to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or Business Analytics, is required.
  • You should be adept at troubleshooting data-related issues and proposing practical solutions.
  • Show excellent skills in stakeholder and project management, being able to handle multiple requests and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information and processes clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Organizational skills, proactive, diligent, and interested in the subject matter.
  • Background in finance, investing, fintech, or a general interest in global markets is desirable but not essential.
