We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Water Hygiene Engineer to join a growing team providing high-quality water hygiene services to clients across London and Essex/South London.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Represent the company as an ambassador when visiting customer sites or communicating via phone/email.\\n\\n * Undertake any reasonable task as requested by the company in line with your role and grade.\\n\\n * Ensure your own health and safety, and that of others, is maintained.\\n\\n * Report any hazards, accidents, incidents, or near-miss events to your Line Manager.\\n\\n * Wear the correct PPE as per company and site-specific requirements.\\n\\n * Adhere to company procedures, policies, and protocols.\\n\\n * Maintain the cleanliness and good working order of any equipment you are responsible for.\\n\\n * Ensure van stock of chemicals and materials is kept at an adequate level for your duties.\\n\\nKey Duties:\\n\\n * Perform water hygiene monitoring tasks following Approved Code of Practice L8, including temperature checks, dipslide sampling, bacteriological testing, inspections of cold-water tanks, and flushing little-used outlets.\\n\\n * Maintain and audit customer water service logbooks.\\n\\n * Clean, disinfect, and maintain hot and cold-water systems, including tanks, calorifiers, and pressurised/mains water services.\\n\\n * Clean and disinfect cooling towers and other cooling/heating plant.\\n\\n * Analyse, test, and dose closed system heating and chilled water.\\n\\n * Analyse, test, and check chlorine dioxide systems.\\n\\n * Conduct fail-safe testing of thermostatic mixing valves.\\n\\n * Complete site surveys for newly acquired sites.\\n\\n * Communicate task completion daily to the service desk.\\n\\nCandidate Requirements:\\n\\n * UK Driving Licence (Required).\\n\\n * Willingness to travel (Required).\\n\\n * At least 1 year’s experience in a similar role (Preferred).\\n\\n * Ability to work independently, manage your time efficiently, and keep communication clear with the team.\\n\\nDesirable:\\n\\n * Previous experience in water hygiene and treatment.\\n\\n * Based in London or Essex/South London.\\n\\nHow to Apply:\\nIf you meet the above requirements and are excited to join a dedicated team, please send your CV and a covering letter to Marble Talent Group today
