Job Title: In-house Commercial / Contracts Paralegal Leading to a Training Contract
Location: Central London
Salary: £30,000 (negotiable for relevant experience)

We are currently working with a luxury beauty brand, who are looking for an ambitious, hands-on commercial / contract paralegal to work for their in-house legal team and support their Head of Legal and Counsel. This role will lead to a training contract after 12 months.
The successful candidate will be providing support, and dealing with a wide range of commercial contracts, commercial and corporate matters, as well as intellectual property. This is an opportunity to develop your drafting and negotiation skills on a global platform as a part of a supportive team.
Key Duties:
- Provide legal support to the legal team
- Preparing and drafting legal letters and contracts
- Undertaking legal research and filing documents with Companies house
- Drafting and amending contracts
- Coordinating signatures for contracts
- Preparing commercial contracts, NDAs, and other legal documents
- Oversee the setup, maintenance and creation / dissolution of legal entities as required to support the business operations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure company-wide compliance on relevant issues, including data protection and employment law
It is essential that you have a minimum of 6 months’ experience (although ideally 12 months) as a transactional paralegal in either contract law, commercial work, corporate, or IP. In addition, you must have either already completed your LPC or SQE, or if you are studying part time, you must be aiming to complete in the next 12 months. You must be a strong communicator, both verbal and written, and able to explain complex legal issues in digestible language. You must also be a flexible team player and willing to turn your hand to other duties, should the need arise as it is a small team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a diligent and ambitious paralegal to join the in-house legal team of a growing company and there is excellent long-term progression in the role; after 12 months, they are looking to offer a training contract.
