At Scotframe we have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Estimator to help provide pricing and quotations in line with specific architectural drawings and specifications.

Scotframeis part of Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland and have been helping homeowners achieve their dreams for 35 years. We supply award winning timber frame kits for self-build and commercial home developers across the UK.

What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven individual to join us as a Trainee Estimator. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn and an interest in working in construction or from an architectural background would be a bonus. The following skills and attributes will help you succeed in this role:

What you will be doing:

As a Trainee Estimator, you will receive training to support your learning. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with various internal and external departments to ensure projects progress through the system from order to delivery
  • Support the wider estimating team in obtaining material quotes from external suppliers
  • Producing competitive quotations at given margins to sustain & grow the business
  • Working with various business systems relevant to this role
