Property Compliance Officer, Stornoway (11206)
37 hours per week, Permanent post
£33,919 to £36,639 per annum, inclusive of £2,742 per annum Distant Islands Allowance

\\n

A Property Compliance Officer is sought to support the Property Manager in ensuring operational service properties within the corporate estate comply with statutory inspection, safety and workplace legislation.

\\n

In your role you will undertake property compliance inspections and devise, plan and implement workplace related safety practices. You will be providing high quality standards of customer care and will also be expected to communicate effectively with other sections within the Comhairle and external agencies.

\\n

You must have a good working knowledge of Property Statutory Compliance, Fire Safety and other Health & Safety practices and an understanding of Building Standards. Knowledge of Asset/Estate Management principles and building maintenance is also required.

\\n

You must be able to inspect, instruct, monitor, and manage the delivery of Statutory compliance requirements whilst being able to create both work orders and specifications to ensure building compliance. A high level of both written and oral communication is required for this role.

You must hold a qualification in an appropriate Building or Facilities Management subject or have previous relevant Estate Management experience.

A full UK Driving license is essential for this post.

Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade with annual incremental progression.
