Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Technology team here at Nurseplus on an temporary/contract basis.
Nurseplus are well underway with a digital transformation programme across many different areas of the business and in order to speed up the implementation of these projects require an systems implementation specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing the implementation of the Access Pay/Bill (formerly known as Safe Tempest) application into our business and into use for our weekly flexible workforce payroll and billing requirements.
The project has already begun with numerous workstreams progressed to a point where we now need a dedicated resource to get it over the line and live.
Key Responsibilities
- To collaborate with both the Software Supplier (Access Group) and our internal teams (Payroll and Finance especially) to deliver the Access Pay/Bill software implementation to a successful go live conclusion.
- To ensure end users have enough training and understanding to manage the software and related processes going forward.
- To lead the migration of data from legacy systems for both initial load and for ongoing data exchanging via import/export routes.
- To oversee the various remaining phases of the project including UAT and parallel runs.
General
- Ensure necessary documentation is developed and/or maintained
- To maintain clear reporting of progress/blockers with the CTO
There may be other duties not specified in this Job Description that Nurseplus may ask you to undertake from time to time.
Knowledge & Skills:
The successful candidate must have experience of implementing the Access PayBill or Safe Tempest product into a recruitment payroll department previously and been heavily involved in the configuration, testing and roll out of the application with a good attention to detail and a technical ability to work with and manipulate data for migration.
Successful candidate must be available to start within 2 weeks of application.

- Good understanding of Payroll and PAYE concepts
- Experience of multi-locations recruitment business
- Understand the importance of testing, UAT and Parallel runs.
