Job Description

Job DescriptionTo provide a safe and high quality service whilst maintaining good operational procedures and relationships between the service and members of the public. To act as Duty Officer in all aspects of swimming pool supervision and operation of the facility.ResponsibilitiesProvide a life-guarding service.\\nPerform swimming pool duties as required.\\nUndertake reception duties.\\nResponsible for the security of the building.\\nUndertake Duty Officer responsibilities.\\nTo carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time as agreed by the post-holder with Management.The IndividualPrevious experience of working directly with people.\\nRLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or willingness to attain.\\nFirst Aid Certificate\\nStrong and confident swimmer\\nStrong customer care skills and focus.\\nAbility to follow routines.\\nFlexible approach to work.\\nObservational skills to enable effective management of the pool and its users.\\nActive listening skills for effective communication for effective interaction with members of the public and staff.\\nAbility to lift and carry reasonable weight, move equipment in conjunction with moving and handling regulations.\\nAbility to bend and stretch in order to carry out wet cleaning.\\nFlexibility to meet the needs and demands of the service.\\n \\nClosing Date: 14 March 2025\\nStarting Salary: £27,426 (pro rata)\\n£14.55 per hour\\n18.13 Hours per week\\nJob share post.\\n \\nProposed interview date: TBC\\nFor further information contact: Ken Brown (01542) 888055
