JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs specific to MEP activities. * Ensure all MEP operations comply with H&S legislation and best practices. * Create, maintain and review all health & safety documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, CPP documentation etc. * Monitor H&S on every site including carrying out H&S audits on major site visits (at least bi-weekly). * Action any requirements raised within the H&S audit on the ground, raising anything serious with the Senior PM Team by phone then followed up by email. * Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. * Document inspection findings and follow up on corrective actions. * Provide safety training and implement safety training programmes for all personnel, including new employee orientations and ongoing toolbox talks. * Ensure all member of staff have a full understanding of Primech safety practices and procedures. * Investigate incidents and accidents, determining root causes and implementing corrective measures. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records and documentation. * Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain incident detailed reporting documentation. * Act as the primary point of contact for health and safety matters. * Work closely and collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate safety into all phases of project delivery. SKILLS REQUIRED * Proven time management organisational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. * Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy. * Self-starter and ability to operate and excellent communication at all levels (from Site Level to Senior Management) * Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in the relevant field of operation * Ability to conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed reports. * IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualification with proof of certificate(s) * Experience in a similar position. * Ability to liaise and converse with clients in a professional manner * Full UK driver’s license
