Sales Development Representative
Working Hours – Monday to Friday – 9am – 5:30pm
Start date – ASAP
Basic – 30,000 plus uncapped commission OTE 45,000 +
The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a pivotal role in our business development process. You’ll be responsible for outbound prospecting, engaging potential clients, and securing meetings for our Business Development Consultants. This role is essential to expanding clients reach and comes with exciting performance-based incentives. Based in our Glasgow office, you’ll be joining a vibrant and highly engaged sales team, with a strong shared sense of purpose.
Responsibilities
Proactively generate and qualify quality leads through outbound phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and video.
Book qualified meetings for the Business Solutions Consultants by engaging with decision-makers and understanding their needs.
Meet and exceed targets for meetings booked, attended, and converted by the Business Solutions Consultants.
Craft compelling, personalised email content to nurture prospects and convert them into sales-qualified leads.
Use LinkedIn for prospecting, engagement, and nurturing relationships with potential clients.
Incorporate video in outreach to personalise communication and stand out to prospects.
Track and manage activities in our CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions.
Collaborate with the Business Consultant team to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads.
Continuously research the market and stay updated on industry trends to identify new opportunities.
Skills

Comfortable using LinkedIn for lead generation and relationship building.
Highly organised and able to manage multiple leads and tasks simultaneously.
Experience working with CRMs, preferably Microsoft Dynamics, to track performance and manage leads.
Self-motivated and target-driven, with a desire to exceed performance goals.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Experience
2+ years of B2B experience in a similar SDR, BDR, or outbound lead generation role.
Experience in the utilities or energy sector is a plus.
Incentives & compensation
Attractive base salary + uncapped commission earnings.
Bonus for each qualified meeting attended (subject to quota).
% of commission on revenue from opportunities that convert into deals.
