A lead role within our company. This position involves handling the full tender package from the initial receipt of tender to the issuance of a quotation to the client. As a professional and established air conditioning company, our goal is to provide our clients with the best possible service while maintaining an exciting and happy environment for our employees. Our Work Environment Includes: * Growth opportunities * Safe work environment * Varied and interesting work Mechanical Estimator Duties: * Review document tenders and raise any RFIs with the client. * Research the cost of items such as materials, transport, labour, and equipment. * Retrieve costs from suppliers and contractors. * Perform take-offs as required, conforming to standard estimating conventions. * Utilize estimating software (e.g., Trimble/Ensign). * Prepare tenders for internal decisions. * Ensure timely submission of tenders. * Participate in the handover of projects to the operation/project teams. Mechanical Packages Range: * £1K-£3M, requiring quotations for: * Air conditioning * Ventilation * Plumbing * Insulation * Controls and commissioning * Validations, mainly targeting CatA and CatB commercial works Business Sectors: Within our client base, we work in a range of business sectors, including: * Commercial Offices * Healthcare * Education * Leisure * Government Buildings
