We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in catering with a focus on food safety and quality.
As a Chef, you will be responsible for supervising junior kitchen staff, and ensuring that all food preparation meets our high standards. Your leadership skills will help foster a positive and efficient working environment in our restaurant.
Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with the restaurant’s menu and standards.

Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.

Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.

Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required.

Maintain a positive atmosphere in the kitchen, promoting teamwork and collaboration among staff.

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment.

Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in both cooking and presentation.
