Food Technologist

An important and varied role that sits between our Technical Department and our Quality & Internal NPD team. Assisting with day-to-day functions within the Technical Department to ensure Legality, Safety and Compliance whilst collaborating with the NPD and Sales Team to ensure the successful launch of new products., * Be part of the team working to accurately complete Supplier Approval Questionnaires.

• Assist with the generation of new customer specifications and complete customer portals.

• Deal with Customer Service queries, responding in a timely and professional manner.

• Be part of the new product development process, ensuring full compliance to technical standards.

• Be competent to cover the generation of labels in the absence of our NPD and project coordinator.

• Assist in successful first production runs as required.

• A strong understanding of microbiology and nutrition.

• Familiar with BRC – Food Safety Standards, HACCP and Internal Auditing.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar role in FMCG.

• An understanding of the operational side of Food Manufacturing
