Are you a Defecs Manager / Technical Delivery Manager with a Field Engineer background and previous experience managing external suppliers within Field Services (Installation & Maintenance) for Telecom 4G/5G Mobile Wireless Networks? This opportunity is for a Vendor Manager that can drive the external ASP’s / SWC’s delivery against agreed SLA’s within the area of RAN maintenance.
This role is 90% remote work with requirements to visit the office once per week.
PLEASE NOTE: sponsorship cannot be provided so candidates must live in the UK with valid rights to work.
Responsibilities:
- Handle day to day operational tasks between I&M supplier and Key Stakeholders.
- Perform Quality Audits on I&M supplier, both desktop and field based, and assist the Technical Contract lead in the development of any Improvement Plans.
- Approve and check applications for payment from I&M Supplier, and work with Technical Contract Lead to ensure all services are delivered in line with contractual SLA.
- Log Triage data and create Operational Reporting to govern Supplier performance and report to customers.
- End to End management of raised defects ensuring all defects are logged in appropriate systems. Update process documentation changes when they arise.
- Drive the I&M supplier and liaise with the internal support teams to escalate issues to resolution.
- Manage workflows relating to out of scope activities such as Build Snagging and End of Life. Collect evidence and document the defect before passing these defects to the Customer for agreement and resolution.
- Drive improvement initiatives and develop ways of working.
Experience:
- Experience in a Telco Environment of Infrastructure maintenance role – Essential.
- Experience of working within the Mobile Telecom Field Environment – Essential.
- Experience with providing reporting to stakeholders primarily Excel Driven – Essential.
- Experience of Network cell site maintenance activities within a mobile telecommunications environment – Essential.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety issues within a Field Operations environment – Desirable.
