We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As the Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, managing staff, and optimising pharmacy services to meet the needs of our patients., * Lead and manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring accurate dispensing, patient consultations, and inventory management.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards pertaining to pharmacy practice.

  • Oversee the dispensing of medications and ensure accuracy in prescriptions.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and medication management.

  • Maintain accurate records of medications, inventory, and pharmacy operations.

  • Utilise IT systems effectively for inventory management, prescription processing, and reporting.

  • Supervise and mentor a team of pharmacists and support staff to maintain high standards of clinical service and customer care.

  • Ensure strict adherence to the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) standards and relevant legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee stock control, ensuring adequate medication supply through effective ordering and inventory management.

  • Provide expert clinical advice to patients, liaising with healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care.

  • Implement and uphold safety and efficiency protocols in all pharmacy processes.

  • Monitor performance metrics, analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), and work towards achieving financial and operational targets.

  • Deliver exceptional service to patients and foster strong relationships with healthcare providers, suppliers, and stakeholders.

  • Stay informed about the latest developments in pharmacy practice, new medications, and changing healthcare regulations.

  • Proven leadership experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.

  • Strong IT skills, including familiarity with pharmacy management software.

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

  • A degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification, along with relevant registration/licensure as required by law.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative in decision-making processes.
