About the Company:

A Part Time Data Privacy Manager (21 hours per week, ~50% FTE) is sought for a leading Not For Profit organisation in Blackpool.

They are looking for a someone to visit the Blackpool office once a week or twice a month, working the rest from home.

About the Role:

The Data and Privacy Manager will oversee data security, privacy frameworks, and compliance across the organisation. This includes developing policies, monitoring compliance, managing risk, and handling incidents and data subject requests. The role also involves leading internal awareness programmes and providing expert advice on information governance and cyber security.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain data protection policies and procedures
  • Monitor compliance and maintain an accountability framework
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments
  • Oversee data subject requests and incident response
  • Lead a network of Data Champions and provide training
  • Draft reports for senior leadership and liaise with the ICO as required

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will a EU GDPR Foundation certification or similar privacy qualification.

Pay range and compensation package:

£50,000 (Pro-Rata Basis)

21 hours per week ~50% FTE
