For Companies Senior H&S Advisor in the Buckinghamshire/Berkshire region. Permanent position with a salary of £55,000 - £68,000 plus package.
Are you an experienced health & safety professional with strong knowledge of utilities, energy, power or civil engineering and seeking a new position? I have multiple positions across the Buckinghamshire and Berkshire region. I am currently working with a large civil engineering/Utility-focused business in growing their team.
The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience working in health & safety. The Senior Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
- Being a driven and enthusiastic individual with a passion for health & safety.
- Working as part of a team across multiple sites in the Buckinghamshire/Berkshire region.
- Supporting the team to create a positive health & safety culture.
- Being the go-to for internal and external contractors in providing health & safety advice.
- Leading on accident investigations and near misses to identify root causes and implement improvement plans.
- Conducting risk assessments and method statements for sites when required.
- Promoting a positive and proactive health & safety culture across the business.
The Senior Health & Safety Advisor will have:
- 3 years of experience working in health & safety.
- Previous experience working in utilities, energy, power or civil engineering.
- A NEBOSH certificate with IOSH membership.
- A driving license.
- Experience in the construction or civil engineering industry, with site experience.
- A strong communicator and problem solver approach.
