DiscoveryWarehouse OperatorContract until the end of yearASAP Start DateRadlett based (Hertfordshire)£16.10ph via PAYEWorking Hours & Schedule Summary:Shift Length: 9 hours per day (40 hour per week paid)Work Week: 5 days per weekWeekend Requirement: Saturday and Sunday shifts required every other week (biweekly)Shifts are between 7am – 8pmPrimary Purpose of the JobTo support the warehouse and ecommerce activities, across Warner Bros. Tours & Retail.Essential Job Functions:StockReceive, check, and accept deliveries to our warehouse, helping to keep records of incoming orders.Maintain relevant paperwork as orders are dispatched to stores and customers.Ensure stock is put away and replenished in accordance with company guidelines.Order picking for each of our businesses. This could include picking orders for stores, or individual customer orders for our ecommerce business.Packing orders for our online store. This includes making sure the correct products have been selected and sent, adding personalization (where needed),and wrapping purchases to a high standard.Feeding back any issues with orders or stock levels to colleagues and our Management Team, to make sure a quality service is provided to our customers.Keeping our warehouse clean, tidy, and organized, and shrinkage to a minimumlevel.Checking machinery and vehicles, and reporting any defects or issues as soon as possible.PeopleParticipate in daily briefings and be aware of all activity within the department.Adhere to all Health& Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all visitors and staff.To take responsibility for own personal development through coachingfrom line managers.Carry out any reasonable tasks at the request of the Warehouse Management Team.AdministrationAvoid loss through the efficient handling of product and packaging.Perform housekeeping duties, ensuring strict standards are maintained.Ensure Warehouse work is accurate and up to date.Support and assist on all stock counts.Skills RequiredHighest levels of customer service.Works as part of a team with a flexible approach.Able to prioritise work and use initiative.Effective, confident communication with colleagues and managers.PC skills. Use of handheld terminals and desktops are integral to these roles.Able to complete tasks by a deadline.Reliability. Show us how we’ll be able to rely on you at our busiest times of the year.Attention to detail. Show us you have an eye for detail.Some tasks in our warehouse require work from height. Full training, equipment and personal protective equipment are be providedRelevant Previous Work Experience, Education or QualificationsPreferably previous experience in a similar warehouse or Ecommerce environment.Previous use of warehouse management systems would be an advantage.Previous use of warehouse machinery order pickers would be an advantage.
