Ecologist – Winchester
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Ecologist to join a growing environmental consultancy based in Winchester. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about ecology and keen to contribute to high-quality projects across the South of England. The successful candidate will support a wide range of ecological services, including habitat surveys, protected species work, ecological reporting and project delivery. Key Responsibilities;

Undertake a variety of ecological field surveys and assessments

Assist with ecological reports, including PEAs, EcIAs and protected species reports

Support project delivery and liaise with colleagues and clients

Contribute to high standards of health, safety and ecological best practice
You will ideally have;

A degree in Ecology or a related subject

Some experience in ecological fieldwork and reporting

Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy

A proactive, organised approach with strong communication skills
