Unqualified Playroom Assistant

We are working alongside a brilliant Primary School in Waltham Forest who are keen to take on multiple Unqualified Playroom Assistants ASAP Start. Within this role, you will be working closely alongside knowledgeable Playroom Leaders while providing dedicated support to the pupils throughout the day, encouraging learning through creative outlets such as arts, crafts and music.

• Strong academic background (Degree, A Levels, GCSEs)

• Previous experience working alongside children

• Passion and drive for children’s early years development

• Outgoing and hardworking individual who can work well in a group

• Working closely alongside Playroom Leaders in Nursery and EYFS classes

• Holding 1:1 and group intervention sessions to improve pupils social and academic growth

• May involve working alongside children with mild SEN needs (ASD, ADHD etc)

• Encouraging learning through fun and engaging outlets such as arts, music and drama

• £105 – £115 per day – Term time only

• ASAP Start – Full time – Full academic year
