Search are supporting the recruitment of a Business Analyst on a full-time, permanent basis to join our client’s Edinburgh office with hybrid working. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role would be well suited to a proactive and analytical professional with a background in business analysis and interested in improving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be confident working across departments, translating business needs into practical solutions and driving change through technology and process improvement. A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.Key Responsibilities:Gather and refine business and functional requirements from stakeholders Analyse current operational processes to identify areas for improvementDevelop and document recommendations for process optimisationLead implementation of approved changes i.e. project coordination, user testing and trainingAct as a liaison between legal teams, IT and other business unitsManage projects i.e. planning, budgeting, risk management and stakeholder engagementProvide ongoing support and training to users affected by system and process changesMaintain accurate documentation of systems and business processesSkills and experience you’ll ideally have:Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst in professional services settingUnderstanding of business analysis techniques i.e. requirement gathering & process mappingExperience implementing change and managing projectsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities effectivelyExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency with collaboration platforms such as SharePoint and MS TeamsSolid understanding of project management tools and methodologiesDegree in Business, Law, IT or a related fieldBusiness Analysis or Project Management certificationWhat’s in it for you:Salary range of £50,000 – £60,000, depending on experienceHybrid working options to support work-life balanceGenerous annual leave allowanceOpportunity to work in a collaborative, forward-thinking environmentExposure to impactful projects with scope for professional developmentIf you’d like to apply or find out more, please submit your CV at the earliest opportunity and/or get in touch at fergus.wade@search.co.uk.
