These projects consist of new builds and refurbishments, primarily in the residential and commercial sectors, carried out on a design & build basis. The Contracts Manager Role Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful Contracts Manager will strengthen the contracts team and oversee the implementation and delivery of projects valued from approximately £3m to £8m in the East Midlands and Yorkshire regions. Key responsibilities include: Building strong relationships with clients and project teams. Ensuring all aspects of the fit-out process are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards. Delivering snag-free jobs and managing multiple contracts simultaneously. Liaising with construction teams, landlords, and clients. Managing design control and coordination, liaising directly with designers. Coordinating contractors and design against specifications and costs. Understanding standard work practices, relevant BS standards, and codes. Candidate Requirements Experience managing large-scale commercial or residential projects of similar value. Willingness to travel and dedication to supporting the team. Strong customer-facing skills with real examples. Client-focused with a positive attitude. Ability to manage multiple schemes nationally. Decisive under pressure with robust decision-making skills. Ability to interpret architect drawings and implement buildability solutions on the spot. Team-oriented and highly motivated. Commercial awareness to align business and client needs. Programming experience (Microsoft Project / Asta). Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. #J-18808-Ljbffr
