A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated and hard-working individual to join the Operations Team at RunThrough. At RunThrough we strive to be excellent at what we do and have fun whilst doing so. We are looking for a candidate to manage and support the delivery of cutting-edge and professional mass-participation running events. You shall complete the daily tasks of event management to include, but not restricted to, venue management, course designs and ensuring high-standards are maintained in relation to preparation and delivery of events.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop relationships with venues, councils, traffic management contractors etc.
  • Create and update event management plans and risk assessments.
  • Complete relevant event applications, e.g. road closure applications.
  • Lead the course team on event days, ensuring that courses are correctly set up and packed down. Being the lead cyclist for events where appropriate.
  • Support the event team with course designs, marshal maps and answering enquiries.
  • Line management of a small team.
Essential Skills and Requirements
  • Passionate about physical activity and running.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Previous line management experience.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely during the week.
  • Willing to work weekends: early start, early finish.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Knowledge of the U.K running industry.
Desirable Attributes
  • Previous experience in managing relationships with venues, councils, or other clients.
  • Coaching and volunteer experience.
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team.
