Service Technician / MOT Tester Overview We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician / MOT Tester to join a busy and well-established automotive business. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles Perform MOT testing in line with DVSA regulations (where qualified) Diagnose faults accurately using manufacturer diagnostic equipment Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Conduct vehicle health checks and report any additional work required Ensure all job cards, paperwork, and MOT records are completed accurately Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment Work collaboratively with the service team to meet productivity targets Requirements Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance Repair Valid MOT Tester Licence (preferred but not essential for the right candidate) Proven experience as a Service Technician in a dealership or independent garage Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Full UK driving licence Ability to work efficiently under pressure and...
