Your new company
We have a new opportunity for an experienced production planner for a manufacturing business based in Kings Lynn.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the accurate and timely creation of production supply instructions. Creating and maintaining capacity plans, material supply orders and manufacturing instructions. Supporting the production manager with customer queries, assisting with supply and demand orders, schedules and changes. You will ensure the inventory is available on time for production and production demand is monitored.
Working closely with customer services you will communicate any delays in supplying orders, keeping production teams updated with any scheduling changes. You will look for ways to improve operational efficiencies by having a good understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
What you’ll need to succeed
Proven experience in production planning using ERP (NAV ERP) systems and Excel, strong communication skills, knowledge of capacity scheduling and planning. Good customer service experience, strong organisational skills.
What you’ll get in return
