Exciting role for an Electronic Design Engineer. My client is a high value scientific instrument developer, delivering to the cutting edge industries of Surface Science and Quantum computing. An Electronics Engineer is required to join their team as part of continued growth. This role could suit someone 3-4 years into their career or someone significantly more experienced with skills to match. Salary will be tailored to suit accordingly.
Technology you will work on will include:
- High and Low Voltage Electronic products including power supplies
- PCBA design
- Embedded Firmware
The nature of the company will ensure you get to see your work through the full "concept to delivery" life cycle, working with a strong multidisciplinary team including physicists and mechanical and software engineers, a close supplier network and engaged customers.
This role is based near Southampton, and the nature of the product is one where a full work from home basis is not viable but certainly there is the opportunity for some hybrid/home working.
