My client has an exciting opening within the business as a pre-press large format print artworker to support the Studio Manager. They offer a supportive and friendly environment with the chance to be part of a growing business.
Using the very latest high quality digital printers with direct to media capabilities, digital cutters and in-house acrylic fabrication means they can cover a broad range of requirements.
From both large and small POS signage, vinyl’s, banners, posters, hoardings, pop-up units, light boxes, laminates, window, and wall graphics.
Job Description
Main Duties: making customer files print ready; creating artwork for a whole range of large format digital print machines and a flatbed cutter.
Full training will be given on individual techniques specific but previous art working experience is essential.
Day to day you will be required to produce high quality print ready artwork.
The key skills required include:
- Full proficiency using Adobe Creative Packages such as: Illustrator, Photoshop (including retouching) and InDesign
- Art working and pre-press procedures/workflows for print
- Ability to understand and execute instructions
- Work within a busy environment, managing workloads to tight deadlines
- Flexibility and availability to work additional hours if required
- Experience as an artworker within the Large Format Print Industry
- Self-motivated
- A very high level of attention to detail is essential
- Communicating with customers by phone and email in a professional manner
