This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced business and play a key role in enhancing and supporting their financial systems. Role Overview: This position sits under the IT department but focuses primarily on financial systems, so a strong understanding of financial processes and accounting is essential. Responsibilities of the Financial Systems Specialist include: Collaborate with users and project stakeholders to gather and understand both functional and non-functional requirements, technical limitations, issues, and risks. Assist in documenting both current and future business processes at various levels, ensuring clarity and alignment across the organisation. Contribute to project planning, supporting task coordination and activity management within the project team. Provide day-to-day support for incidents, queries, requests, and issues, escalating to third-level support or technology partners when necessary.
