Cedar is currently partnered with a Global Financial Services business to help them secure an Interim Financial Reporting Manager. The role is to support the Director of Reporting and would be based in their office in The City. The role is a 6-month initial contract, paying between £(Apply online only) per day. The Company This rapidly growing business has made a significant impact on the Financial Services market over recent years. They have expanded their operations into EMEA and APAC, with extremely ambitious plans to continue their pace of development. They are a highly agile, technology driven firm that has expanded ambitiously through acquisition. The Role As Reporting Manager, you would consolidate accounts under IFRS, oversee subsidiary reporting, enhance processes and controls, ensure compliance with reporting obligations, and integrate acquisitions. You would support audits, financial reviews, and technical accounting. Prepare and deliver consolidated Group accounts and financial statements under IFRS, US GAAP, and FRS102. Oversee subsidiary financial statements audited globally, ensuring quality and adherence to standards. Set and manage timetables for annual, interim, and quarterly reporting. Collaborate on technical accounting matters, including new standards and audit preparation. Enhance corporate reporting processes, governance, and compliance with non-financial reporting obligations. Conduct reviews of legal entity financials and address auditor inquiries. Improve processes, integrate acquisitions, and strengthen financial controls across the Finance team. Your Profile You will ideally have: A formal Accountancy Qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CA, etc). Experience within an acquisitive, fast-growth environment Experience gained within a large, complex environment. Experience dealing with multiple robust internal and external stakeholders. The daily rate of £(Apply online only) represents either a logical increase in your earnings or a similar level to your previous experience. Prior experience within a Financial Services business is useful.
