Role Overview:

As a Refuge Worker will be supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse. Your responsibilities will include ongoing risk assessment, individual safety planning, and providing both emotional and practical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of safeguarding vulnerable people.
  • Working with high-risk clients
  • Risk and needs assessment.
  • Multi agency work
  • Working with vulnerable adults affected by domestic abuse, substance misuse, sexual abuse, housing, mental health, homelessness, or ex-offenders.

Essential Requirements:

  • DBS on update service or one will be conducted on your behalf.
