I have a great opportunity for a Controls Engineer to join a well-known and successful manufacturing company near Telford. An exciting new role for an experienced controls engineer who is ready to lead automation initiatives, deliver impactful site projects, and drive engineering innovation. Controls Engineer Duties include: * Day’s role (Flexitime). * Provide technical leadership in programming PLC’s. * Projects from initial concept to final product. * PLC programming (Siemens). * Drive improvements. * Liaise with OEM automation specialists. * Maintain and monitor the use of automation. * Working to deadlines. Controls Engineer Requirements include: * HNC or Degree – Electrical Engineering. * Siemens PLC experience. (Programming as a min). * Food / FMCG experience. * Ability to work in a team and individually. * Experience within a maintenance environment. * Experience liaising with contractors, suppliers and technical staff.
