ROLE PURPOSE: The Associate Director of International Admissions provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of the admissions function, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and compliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves streamlining admissions processes, optimising resources, and ensuring a high-quality applicant experience while maintaining compliance with UK higher education standards.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement strategic plans for admissions, aligning with organisational goals and recruitment targets.
- Provide guidance on admissions policies and ensure compliance with statutory bodies.
- Lead initiatives to improve conversion rates from enquiry to enrolment.
- Operational Management
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the admissions process for international applicants enrolling in GEDU institutions across the globe.
- Manage and lead the admissions team, ensuring scalability and effectiveness during peak cycles.
- Ensure service standards are met, including turnaround times and accuracy of decision-making.
- Process Optimisation
- Continuously review and enhance admissions workflows to improve efficiency and applicant satisfaction.
- Develop and implement tools to support data-driven decision-making, such as CRM systems and performance dashboards.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Conduct periodic audits to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks.
- Maintain and update admissions policies and procedures in line with legal and institutional changes.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including academic departments, marketing, and international offices.
- Act as a subject matter expert on regulatory and policy developments affecting admissions.
- Represent the institution in external forums, fostering collaboration and sharing best practices.
- Training and Development
- Identify training needs within the admissions team and develop programmes to address them.
- Ensure team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to deliver excellent service.
- Facilitate continuous professional development opportunities for staff.
- Data and Reporting
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on admissions performance, including key metrics and trends.

Essential Skills and Experience
