Market Financial Solutions (MFS) is a leading independent bridging finance provider based in the United Kingdom. With a strong presence in the market, we specialise in offering fast and flexible bridging loans and buy-to-let mortgages to our valued intermediaries and clients.
Role Purpose: We are seeking a commercially focused Product Manager to support the development and optimisation of our product suite with strong focus on commercial property lending. You will identify opportunities based on broker and borrower needs and market gaps, working cross-functionally to build compelling, profitable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management of the product lifecycle for lending offerings (strong commercial focus) – from discovery to delivery and continuous improvement.
- Conduct opportunity assessments and develop business cases aligned to company objectives.
- Define and maintain product requirements in collaboration with risk, credit, compliance, operations, and sales.
- Market and competitor analysis.
- Monitor performance metrics to identify product improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with sales/BDMs to understand and respond to broker feedback and evolving borrower needs.
- Support launch readiness and internal/external communications in partnership with marketing and intermediary relations.
Role Requirements:
- Experience in product management or proposition development in specialist lending or commercial mortgages.
- Must be comfortable with both strategy and hands-on delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of real estate market and specialist property finance (bridging and commercial are a must; development finance would be advantageous).
- Familiarity with UK property lending regulations and frameworks.
- Proven track record in launching or enhancing financial products.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to model pricing, margin, and risk trade-offs.
- Academic background in economics, finance or business.
- Experience using agile frameworks for product delivery.
- Proficient in advanced data analysis in Excel - analyse lending performance, assess pricing impacts, and generate actionable insights for loan book portfolios.
- Skilled in crafting clear, data-driven PowerPoint presentations tailored for executive audiences, including product performance updates, market opportunity analysis, and strategic business cases.
