Mane is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee the delivery of complex building services installations across a high-profile Data Center project. Specialising in Critical Environments such as Data Centres, Life Sciences, Aviation, High Value Manufacturing, and Critical Logistics, this organisation delivers mission-critical infrastructure to some of the world’s most demanding clients.
Purpose of the Role
As an MEP Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing elements across the Data Center construction project. You will ensure works are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance—on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all MEP aspects of projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
- Liaise with design teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure coordinated delivery.
- Develop and maintain MEP programmes in line with the master construction schedule.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant building regulations, codes, and standards.
- Lead progress meetings, ensuring issues are identified early and resolved efficiently.
- Monitor site activities to ensure safe working conditions and quality workmanship.
- Manage procurement schedules and coordinate timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Support commercial teams with package management and subcontractor performance monitoring.
- Ensure seamless integration of MEP services with architectural and structural elements.
- Oversee MEP commissioning activities and final handover documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in MEP project delivery, preferably with a main contractor.
- Experience on Data Centre or similar high-specification projects is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, codes, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software, MS Office, and BIM platforms.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
