Care Assistant

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients. This position requires a caring nature, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle various tasks with empathy and professionalism.

Duties:

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, personal care , and dressing

• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and dosage instructions

• Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning clients

• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding

• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper care is provided

Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred

• Knowledge of eldercare practices is beneficial

• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals in need of care

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various home care settings

• Familiarity with medication administration procedures is a plus, GCSE or equivalent (preferred), Home care: 1 year (preferred)
