Siamo Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for an Assistant Solicitor to join a reputable and established legal practice in the Gwynedd region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed legal professional to thrive in a busy, collaborative, and supportive environment. This is a full-time, permanent position with standard office hours (Monday-Friday). Hybrid working arrangements are available. The salary is competitive within the industry and will be reflective of the candidate's level of experience. Applications are welcomed from newly qualified solicitors as well as those with post-qualification experience.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the Head of Family Law within the firm
  • Handle a caseload of family law matters
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and options with empathy and professionalism
  • Represent clients in court hearings and liaise with counsel and third-party professionals as necessary
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
  • Maintain accurate case files and client records in line with regulatory and confidentiality standards
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and high-quality service
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm and contribute to the continuous improvement of legal services
  • Keep up to date with changes in family law and participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A qualification to practice as a Solicitor in England and Wales
  • A strong interest in or experience with family law matters
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and as part of a team
  • A client-focused approach and commitment to delivering high-quality legal advice
