Sous Chef

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team as a Sous Chef. As part of the team, you will work alongside the Head Chef or take charge of service, supporting and assisting wherever possible. You will be showing you drive to prepare, cook and present high quality food; to the level expected by the business and the guests

This is a fulltime role, with shifts over the weekend, we are looking to fill 4 full day shift 10am to 10pm., * Work alongside the Head Chef using experience and skill to help develop and deliver new dishes for our menus

• Prepare, cook and present high quality food to the level expected by the business and the guests

• Be organised, managing and directing the kitchen, during and after service weather on your own or working alongside the Head Chef.

• Manage food safety and stock rotation, placing orders with our nominated suppliers

• Carry out regular stock checks to ensure all area of the business are efficiently run and well maintained

• Be responsible for ensuring all health and safety, due diligence records and compliance is maintained

• Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness in all BOH areas, including refrigeration, cooking equipment, storage, and prep areas

• Work positively with the kitchen team, communicating openly and frequently

This role is well suited to a experienced chef that aspire to the role or can demonstrate consistent high quality delivery. You will be a self-motivated and hardworking individual, with good communication skills and a can-do attitude with good team sentiment.
