Head of Service (Basé à London)

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Commissioning Officer within the Children’s Services to work full time based in Haringey. The salary for this permanent Commissioning Officer role is up to £37,038 per annum.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and executing specific projects to attain commissioning goals.
• Collaborating with colleagues and partners to ensure the services commissioned are of high quality, cost-effective, and yield positive outcomes.
• Assisting in service enhancement and cost reduction by contributing to vital projects.
• Composing, formulating, and updating essential documents such as Service Specifications, Contracts, and Individual Placement Agreements, with proper filing.
• Monitoring and evaluating contracts and processes to ensure smooth operations.
• Preparing detailed reports to support senior managers in decision-making and resource management.
• Establishing strong partnerships with stakeholders to facilitate seamless collaboration in service delivery.

Requirements:

• Social work qualification with registration with Social Work England.
• Experience in managing social work caseloads and supervising others.
• Experience in community and/or group work.
• Knowledge of children’s health and social care systems, agencies, and relevant legislation.
