Derivatives Specialist

Overview

Manage contract confirmation cross PCIL and PITL trading activities. Manage ETD and OTC traded position for Gas, Power, Emission and LNG TVB product.

• Daily Loan and FX trade validation in ETRM system.
• Daily LNG transaction trade checked in ETRM system.
• Responsible for reconciling expected execution brokerage charges on T+1, across both ETRM systems and all business lines, send out broker break amendment request to trader.
• ECMS auto reconciliation upload and review result and identify trade break. Follow up with counterpart on any break in ECMS system.
• Creating contract for Gas, Power, Emission, LNG TVB and OTC financial oil trade which cannot be matched in ECMS.
• Reviewing incoming contracts and respond to them in a timely manner.
• Download and Upload trade details to ICE Trade Vault for REMIT and EMIR reporting.
• Manage ECC C7 gas and power position and allocate trade to correct subaccount.

Skills Required

• Possess a strong paralegal background.
• Will need to be able to work quickly and accurately on a large volume of work with prompt deadlines.
• Should be confident working with complex documentation and any previous contractual or trading background may be advantageous.
• Significant and relevant experience in Gas and Power industry, specially familiar with EFET template.
• Great advantage if has experience use Endur and ECMS system
• Teamwork Skills – ability to work with others to accomplish group goals and implement process changes. Demonstrated teamwork inside and outside immediate area of responsibility.
• Communication Skills – initiates communications within the team to learn and share knowledge and follows up to ensure message is received. Ability to communicate well with front, mid and back-office personnel as well as Senior levels of management. Listens attentively, seeks to understand others viewpoints, and tests for understanding.
• Organization Skills –ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience with managing daily/monthly/quarterly duties with on-going projects and communicating the status of assignments.
• Degree in Finance/Commercial/Mathematics or equivalent
