Teaching Assistant

A great opportunity to support students at varying levels of learning ability within an average sized secondary school in Bolton. Full-time Teaching Assistant required to start in September. Supporting students with additional learning needs within the classroom.

The incoming teaching assistant will be providing 1:1 and small group support within the classroom to ensure all pupils have the guidance they require. Prospective candidates will ideally have experience working alongside young people previously. Any direct experience with children who have additional learning needs or SEN is also desirable.

The school is located in Bolton and is a short drive from the M62 motorway and is accessible from surrounding areas such as Salford, Bury and Wigan. Being close to the centre, the school is also accessible via public transport from the surrounding areas of Bolton.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
