Responsibilities will include:

• Development and management of CI/CD pipelines that allow us to develop our software quickly with fast feedback loops

• Writing tools for internal use to allow improved automation of development practices

• Software deployment, testing and validation

• Hardware bench testing, configuration and integration with CI/CD pipelines where appropriate

• Conducting sea trials, including testing and validation of software, networking and system integration

• Working flexibly with the software and engineering teams to ensure software and documentation are delivered on time

• Working to the highest safety standards for software development, test and validationHelping create a culture of learning and continuous improvement

Required:

• Degree level qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience

• Experience with CI/CD pipelineFast learner and a team player

Desirable:

• Software development in modern C++ and/or Python

• Experience with Ubuntu/Debian linux distributions

• Experience with mobile robotics projects

• An understanding of basic electronicsA proactive individual with strong commitment and self-motivation

Note : Due to the nature of work undertaken at SubSea Craft, the selected candidate must be capable of meeting the security requirements of the position, which would include as a minimum Existing right to live and work in the UK, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), with Security Check likely for specific projects.*
